Grand Island, NE – Central District Health Department (CDHD) has been awarded a grant from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to address lead-based paint hazards in homes across Hall, Hamilton, and Merrick Counties. Central District Health Department (CDHD) recently placed Purple Air Monitors at these six sites across the Central District: the CDHD building, Wood River High School, Silver Creek City Shop, Central City High School, Giltner High School and Aurora Edgerton Explorit Center. At each site, a QR code is available to scan and get real-time air quality readings.
